A couple of years ago, there were different options in relation to management. Today, there are no longer options, the reality has changed abruptly. The modernist vision has lost its strategic, functional, and operational capacity. Today, management decision-making is subject to realities that go beyond the conventional business aspects previously known. Today, we must consider realities such as climate change, public health, economic, social, political, and religious aspects among others. To this end, a scientific approach is required, in order to interpret and make decisions in a more systemic way. There are no other options. Understanding the complexity of the realities and transdisciplinarity is a non-negotiable requirement for the new manager. Science has made its way.
